All Saints Church in Daresbury features a 16thC font, 17thC pulpit and a memorial window, designed by Geoffrey Webb, to Lewis Carroll. Daresbury is the birthplace of Lewis Carroll. A 17thC carved wooden screen behind the altar contains a good example of a 'green man' and an 18thC acrostic in the bell tower is of great interest. A recent find in the church is an 18thC embroidery depicting the church as it was, circa 1710, completely worked in human hair.
