Tymperleys Clock Museum dates back to the 15th century. This beautiful building used to be the home of Elizabethan scientist Dr William Gilberd, before Bernard Mason lived there. Bernard Mason started collecting clocks in the late 1920’s and in the 1950’s restored Tymperleys to its present state. Tymperleys now houses part of the famous Bernard Mason Collection, one of the largest collections of clocks in Britain.
