The museum tells the 250-year-old china clay story, one of Cornwall's most important industries. There is an audiovisual introduction followed by the historic and nature trails with woodland walks and spectacular views of the modern industry. One of the working waterwheels is the largest in the county. There are historic locomotives and buildings with exhibitions and displays, and a children's adventure trail. Cafe serving West Country food, plus shop.
