Part of the Canterbury World Heritage Site containing the ruins of the once great St Augustine's Abbey church and monastic buildings, founded by him in AD598. The remains date from different periods and include the ruins of the smaller, 7thC church of St Pancras and a Norman church. There is also a museum.
