This beautiful Parish Church is a fine example of a Victorian Gothic building. Built in 1871, the church stands at 180 ft/55m and its tower is said to be the tallest in Lancashire. The spacious interior contains many items of interest, including fine stained glass windows and carved woodwork. The church also has a museum corner displaying local history items and other artefacts. Guided tours must be pre-booked.
