This Georgian Rectory has been home of the rectors since it was built in 1804. The last 9 years the rectory has been through a complete renovation programme and has been restored to its former glory, now a stunning Old Rectory transformed into a Country House Hotel standing in 3.5 acres of secluded grounds. As you enter the Old Rectory hotel though the Georgian pillars you are greeted with a splendid staircase. The restful friendly ambiance of this beautiful Georgian house sweeps you away immediately. Whether you are visiting for business or pleasure we can offer comfort and quality in an elegant Georgian setting. All rooms are named after the rectors of Wem and are individual with their own shape, size and character, decorated to luxury standard. All rooms have DVD players, Wireless broadband internet access, ironing boards and trouser press, courtesy tray, hairdryers and radio alarm.
