Set in beautiful open countryside just a few minutes walk or drive from Robin Hood's Bay village and beach, the five stone cottages are sunny and comfortable in a peaceful situation. Mistal Cottage (4 star) is spacious and has exclusive use of the swimming pool and gardens. The four 3 star Mews cottages have a furnished terrace and lawned garden with fruit trees, sundial and real well. We have horses and cycles to ride and many animals to see, including our huge friendly Newfoundland dog, donkeys, cows and calves, hens and ducks.

There is a good selection of pubs, cafes and restaurants in Robin Hood's Bay. Whitby is six miles away, scarborough 16 and York 50. Steam trains, fishing, sailing and lots more to do in the area.

Wildlife is a feature of our grassland farm; fields of wild flowers crossed by deer, foxes, migrating birds, swallows in profusion and badgers visiting the farm premises at night. Seals are to be seen from the cliff paths, and the sand and rock pools hold endless fascination. Fossils are easily found along the shore. There are wonderful views for photographers and artists from the gentle cliffs at Farsyde.
