Bruce Cottage

Bruce Cottage
Type : Self-Catering
Location : Pateley Bridge

Bruce Cottage is a traditional Dales-style farm self catering cottage located in Pateley Bridge. It has this year been sympathetically renovated to a very high standard. It is situated in its own grounds of 0.75 acres, halfway up the hillside, with stunning views over Upper Nidderdale. The cottage is an ideal base for exploring the Dales and the towns of Harrogate, Ripon, Skipton, Masham and Grassington are all within a 20-mile radius. For family days out White Scar Caves and the Black Sheep Brewery are well worth a visit. The cottage is situated 0.5 miles outside the beautiful Yorkshire Dales village of Pateley Bridge. Pateley Bridge has an attractive high street with a good range of shops and businesses, a 'real tourist treat'. There are plenty of activities, tourist attractions and walks to enjoy. It has excellent children's recreations for all the family to enjoy. Nidderdale Museum is also well worth a visit. Only a short distance away are Brimham Rocks (rock formations) and Yorke's Folly, Guisecliffe (Two Stoops). Both offer some of the best walks and views in the area. Bewerley Riding Centre is nearby and the Nidderdale Way passes the front door. Nearby Gouthwaite Reservoir provides an attraction for birdwatchers.
