Richard and Judy extend a warm and friendly welcome to you from Amble House, a Victorian townhouse built in 1896 of traditional Lakeland stone. We are quietly situated but only a short walk to Keswick town centre with all its amenities, the magical Lake Derwentwater, Theatre by the Lake and surrounding fells.

With our consistently high standards of cleanliness, comfort and hospitality Amble House has been accredited with a Four Diamond Silver Award from Visit Britain and we have also been finalists in the AA Landlady of the year awards 2002, 2004 and nominated again in 2005.

Our centrally heated double, twin and single rooms are fully en-suite and very well appointed. We offer hearty traditional or vegetarian breakfasts and special diets are catered for with prior notice. We have guide books and maps to help plan your day and packed lunches for that hungry moment! After the 'occasional' wet day we provide drying facilities for outer clothing and footwear.

We have a policy of a minimum of 2 nights stay.
