Eastdon House was built during the late eighteenth century Georgian period, in one of the finest positions on the Exe estuary. From the striking house tidy lawns slope down to open parkland and magnificent views across the water and out to sea. The first time you take in the exceptional panorama from the steps of the houses is a memory that people rarely forget.

The privately owned house has been tastefully converted into six luxury apartments. Sympathetically alteration of the original manor house that means no two apartments are the same, but the quality of the finishing and decoration is to the same high standard throughout.

There are also three individual cottages in the estate, converted from farm buildings, called Woodside cottages.

You are welcome to enjoy the grounds and woodland during your stay together with private paths to Dawlish Warren and the Nature Reserve, which are within easy walking distance. It is a short drive to the main park, or a scenic walk through private woodland. All park facilities and entertainment are freely available to you when open between April and October, without extra charge.

Eastdon House and Woodland Cottages are just 5 minutes' from Blue Flag beaches on the South Devon Coast.

There are 80 acres of open parkland and private woodland to explore in an idyllic and secluded vale. In our continual evolution of this beautiful area we consider two priorities-your enjoyment of your holiday, and the conservation of the natural environment. With rolling meadows, mature woodlands, orchards and fishing lakes in our grounds you'll struggle to find more beautiful surroundings on a holiday.

At Cofton Country Holidays you'll find a central complex of swimming pools, reception, Swan Pub, and a mini-market. The remaining parkland is spacious, green and sympathetically landscaped with mature trees, impressive palms, hedges and pretty flower beds to balance the privacy you seek with the facilities you require. You'll find the park clean and tidy.

Adjoining the park you'll find 50 acres of unspoilt private woodland. Brimming with flora and fauna, the woods are carefully managed and cared for as to to be a delight in any season. The woodland trail give spectacular views of the Eastdon Estate and the estuary and can be followed for two miles down to Dawlish Warren. Similarly, a walk around the fishing lakes shows of Mother Nature at her finest.
