These stone built cottages are located in the village of East Ayton, on the River Derwent just 4 miles from Scarborough. Set on the gateway to the spectacular North Yorkshire Moors National Park yet only minutes from the beautiful Yorkshire Coast and the resort towns of Scarborough, Whitby and Filey.
Our cottages are inspected annually by the English Tourism Council and we are delighted to have achieved the "4 Star" quality award for all three properties. The cottages are managed and maintained by a local couple David and Jane Beeley who are close at hand during your stay.
Horseshoe, Honeysuckle and Heron all sleep up to four or five with a camp bed with twin and double bedded rooms. Families with young children or pets are very welcome. Highly equipped, well appointed, cosy and comfortable, the cottages are the ideal holiday base. They feature south facing, sun-trap, patio-gardens where young children and pets can play in safety and we have private parking.
East Ayton is a superb base for touring and great days out. Close by are York, Scarborough, Whitby and Pickering not to mention Castle Howard, Heartbeat Country, Herriot Country, Steam Railway and Flamingoland Zoo & Theme Park for the kids.
East Ayton is an idyllic village and there are many pleasant walks along and around the river and the famous Forge Valley close by.
Outside is an enclosed, south-facing, sun-trap, patio-garden with table, and chairs. We have private parking, are open all year, non-smoking and well behaved pets are welcome.
