New Cottage, which is open all year round, has been awarded a 3 star rating by Visit Britain. This well presented single storey property, with good standards of exterior maintenance has ample car parking and good exterior lighting. There is a small front patio area providing an attractive seating area using an old church pew and smart wooden patio furniture. A good rural environment situated in an elevated position surrounded by beautiful views. Lots of guest information is also available.

New Cottage is situated on a working farm and has been described by guests as a delightful little cottage in a very peaceful location. The accommodation is very cosy and comfortable and all on one level-there are no stairs. The panoramic views from the lounge are a never-ending source of delight-they are stunning, and made even more beautiful in the winter when there is a light dusting of snow. The cottage is also so accessible for country walks and sightseeing, and being able to start walks from the cottage is a real bonus, the sunsets are truly magnificent. These comments have been made and written about by guests when they have completed the registration book.

New Cottage has a lounge/kitchen, there is good space to dine, lounge and cook in comfort, a bedroom with double bed. A spacious shower room with good ease of use having been taken into consideration, plus a permanent wall-mounted shower seat. These rooms lead off from a small hallway that has hanging space for cloaks.

New Cottage can be described as being suitable for a partially disabled person in that it has an external ramp at the front door, and the internal doors are wide enough to take a wheelchair, plus the seat in the shower. Disabled persons (accompanied by a non-disabled person) who need to use a zimmer frame and/or walking stick indoors have found the facilities provided at and in New Cottage to be adequate for their needs.

Towels, linen, electricity and heating are all included in the price of £35 per night for the cottage.
