Fulwood House is an attractive property on the edge of the village of Winsham. Set in its own grounds, it overlooks the Axe valley and the hills beyond and has beautiful, uninterrupted views of the countryside on all sides. There is private parking.

The house is spacious and tastefully furnished and the double rooms are equipped to a high standard, with en suite shower rooms, television and radio. Each room has tea or coffee making facilities and hairdryers. There is a choice of full English or light breakfast served in the guests' dining room. We have eggs from our own free-range hens and our own or locally supplied bacon and sausages.

Fulwood House is a non-smoking establishment.

The garden has a wild-life pond and a large terrace and other sitting areas which guests are free to use during their stay.

"The Bell Inn " serves lunches and evening meals and is a short walk from the house.

Winsham is situated on the Somerset/Dorset border and is ideally placed for people wishing to explore the countryside, visit the coast at nearby Lyme Regis or Bridport, or look round the many famous houses and gardens in the vicinity. Forde Abbey is less than 2 miles away, as is Cricket St Thomas Wildlife Park, and the National Trust properties of Barrington and Montacute are within a short drive.

Walkers will find Winsham a useful stopping-off place if they are walking the Liberty Trail or the Dorset Jubilee Trail, and nature lovers will find plenty of wildlife to observe.
