Duke's Place was six well appointed, discrete, self-catering holiday cottages in the converted stables, Granary and outbuildings of the Georgian farmhouse. The cottages are as follows:- Fountains (sleeps 4), Rievaulx (sleeps 4), Jervaulx (sleeps 2-4), Byland (sleeps 2), The Granary (sleeps 4-6), Stables (sleeps 4).

All our properties include Linen, Fully Equipped Modern Kitchen Facilities and Colour Television. The larger properties also include a Video Recorder and a Dishwasher. There are also Laundry Facilities and a Payphone available on site.
We are also only too happy to deliver Milk and Papers, and a Starter Pack can be arranged for when you arrive at your cottage. All heating electric of the cottages is included.
We have a gas barbeque available for those lovely summers evenings, together with a woodland garden for the children to explore. We also have excellent parking facilities. Pets and Children are most welcome, cots and high chairs being available on request.
The Nidderdale area is steeped in heritage with outstanding historical attractions such as Fountains Abbey and Ripley Castle both of which are less than 5 minutes drive away. Many more notable sites can be easily reached from the Courtyard, with Brimham Rocks, Ripon Cathedral, the picturesque market town of Knaresborough and Harrogate with its Conference Facilities no more than 15 minutes away by car.
Whilst not certified by the tourist board, we always welcome disabled guests and recommend Stables or Rievaulx. Please note that Duke's Place Cottages are all Non-Smoking.
