Originally three miners cottages dating from early 1700's, Bulworthy was converted and completely refurbished as one in late 1970's with further improvements since. En suite accommodation consists of one twin and one double room, with thermostatic central heating in all rooms. Packed lunches may also be provided if required.

Bulworthy is set in 1/3 acre of grounds in peaceful countryside on the outskirts of the hamlet of Stony Cross, with access to Barnstaple, Bideford, Torrington and other local towns. Both Exmoor and Dartmoor are close by, as are the South West Coast Path and the Tarka Trail. Rosemoor Gardens and a host of other National Trust and English Heritage properties are located in the vicinity. A number of golf courses are situated in the area, rounds may be arranged through the cottage.

A choice of evening meals is a speciality and we use local or home grown produce wherever possible. We are licensed and can offer a range of wines and beers to compliment your meal. You may let us know whether you wish to take the evening meal either at time of booking or at breakfast on the day , giving you the choice of sampling restaurants in the local towns if you wish.
