Six substantial holiday homes for country lovers, each with highly original character, surrounded by mature gardens and lawns, in a secluded cul-de-sac at end of a long country drive, providing a high standard of accommodation and comfort.
All have fine views south over the parkland, Braddon lake and to Dartmoor. Our spring fed lake is well stocked with fish, including some big ones, with resident water birds, peninsula, jetty with rowing boat, summer house, picnic table.
There is an all-weather summer house with barbecue fireplace; ideal for bird watching near the lake. There are pleasant walks over the 150 acre forested estate, around lake, along valley of Dury Water, and 500 acres of woodland on adjoining land.
All cottages, scrupulously clean, with central heating, insulation, double glazing, parquet floors and/or fitted carpets, colour TV with video, fully equipped kitchens, barbecues (free charcoal), cots, highchairs and garden furniture. Mobile phone provided by request.
Duvets, bedding and towels included. Fishing included and reserved for residents. Most major credit cards accepted. Low and mid season Bargain Breaks available from £100 per week per couple.
